St. Lucie County Launches Virtual Parks Master Plan Meetings
ST. LUCIE COUNTY – St. Lucie County’s Parks & Recreation Department wants to hear from residents on what they’d like to see in the way of future parks and recreation with virtual public workshops on the Parks Master Plan.
The St Lucie County Parks and Recreation Department's 10-year Parks, Parks Preserves and Recreation Master Plan is currently underway and staff wants your input. This plan is being conducted in order to identify the county's future needs for the 2023 - 2033 MSTU funding period.
Because of COVID-19, the county’s consultant, Barth Associates, will be hosting virtual workshops through Zoom on the following dates:
· Tuesday, Sept. 22 from 6:30 to 7:30 p.m.
· Thursday, Sept. 24 from 6:30 to 7:30 p.m.
· Tuesday, Sept. 29 from 6:30 to 7:30 p.m.
· Thursday, Oct. 1 from 6:30 to 7:30 p.m.
If you are interested in participating, please register by visiting www.stlucieco.gov/calendar and click on the meeting date that works best for you.
It’s recommended that participants use a phone, laptop or computer with audio and video capabilities. However, there is an option for people to register and use just the phone line to listen and participate. Each of these virtual public meetings will provide:
· Project Purpose;
· Interactive Virtual Exercises;
· Question-and-Answer Session.
